The steaks were excellent—perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and exactly what you would expect from a great steakhouse. The quality of the food, presentation, and service were all outstanding. What made the experience even better was enjoying such a wonderful dinner in beautiful Hoi An. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional without ever making us feel rushed. A truly memorable evening with great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. If you are visiting Hoi An and appreciate a quality steakhouse, El Gaucho is definitely worth a visit.”

“I’ll start by saying I’ve been to many Asian cities and have never really had what I’d call a “perfect” steak. That changed tonight when I decided to try El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse in Hoi An. It was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. The meat was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. I ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. I had fries on the side, which were delicious and crispy, along with broccoli and mashed potato. Yes, two types of potato… but I’m on holidays, so why not. I also tried a Long Island Iced Tea and a Basil Ramble cocktail, and both were excellent. Exactly how a proper cocktail should taste. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. PS: they have onions slowly cooking in the background, and the aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water before your food even arrives. If you’re in Hoi An and feel like a great steak, I highly recommend giving this place a go. A solid 10/10.”
